SOUL-WINNING

At Chapel Street Baptist Church, we don't want to just hold down a pew on Sunday mornings. Our desire is to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them the commandments of Jesus. We seek to fulfill this calling in a variety of ways. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save, and we want to share it with everyone.

While the most important part of being a soul-winner is sharing your faith with those you meet in your day-to-day life, we also offer opportunities for corporate soul-winning, where we as the church can evangelize the lost together.

Saturday 10 am - 12 pm: Door to Door

Thursday 6-7 pm (during Daylight Savings): Tract Blitzing

During Rain & Available to Take Home: Letter Writing

Seasonal: Prayer Tent

Every Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 pm (weather permitting) we systematically knock on doors, inviting our neighbors to visit our church, and sharing with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will usually leave with them a tract which includes Bible verses teaching the plan of salvation and a New Testament if they need one.

Every Thursday (during Daylight Savings time) from 6-7 pm we place door hangers containing Bible verses teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ on doors in our community. This is a great opportunity for those who are still nervous about sharing their faith to have an opportunity to grow.

During inclement weather, our church has Letter Writing campaigns. Our church members write hand-written letters to our neighbors, inviting them visit our church and sharing with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also have a check-out system where members can write letters at home during their free time all throughout the year.

As the Lord allows, we joyfully set up our Prayer Tent. This has been a tremendous opportunity for us to interact with the community and share the Gospel through prayer. If you have an opportunity for us to set up our Prayer Tent, please reach out!
